Weeping along with the rest of the nation that my beloved Sheffield United have been relegated...

The plight of Sheffield United

I have been, as i am sure most of the nation has been, crying into my beer for the last 2 weeks due to the unfortunate relegation of the mighty Sheffield United.

What is the reason for our plight i hear you cry? Well, 4 managers this season and a reliance on too many loan players who did not care for the club is the only possible response.

Whilst our ex manager, Neil Warnock, has been leading QPR to the title, his and my beloved Blades have suffered relegation. To be honest, it has all been downhill for SUFC since the 'Tevez affair' saw us releagated from the Premier and Warnock lose his job.

I hear rumours that QPR may sack Warnock in favour of a 'bigger name'. Whilst this fills me with hope that Neil may return 'home' to the promised land of Brammal Lane, it would surely spell disaster for QPR.

In the alternative, i am thinking of applying for the job myself. I surely could not do any worse than our last manager (Mr Adams) who won about 4 games in 23.

I have played football, watched football for many years and love football. However, i am a realist. I will need a backroom staff of advisors.

Therefore, if anybody is interested in getting a job at the best football team in the world please respond here. We dont need to talk salary (there wont be one...) but together i am certain we can return the blades to the premier!

I also doubt that there will be much money available for the purchase of players, however, this has always been the case at SUFC!

Therefore, please let me know if you are interested and what you will bring to the table. We can then send our CV's off the Kevin Mcabe and dazzle him with our footballing knowledge.

Failing that, I will see you all at Yeovil, Exeter and Hartlepool next season. Let the good times roll.......

NB - i will not entertain any job applications from Sheff Wed Fans or Leeds Utd fans. Call me prejudice but i just do not think you would take the job seriously....
