Can you help me help Stoke Mandeville?

Charity Golf Day 22nd September

This is the third year I have been asked to organise the charity golf day for Stoke Mandeville Hospital Radio (SMHR) and last year we raised over £7000.

Stoke Mandeville Hospital Radio was formed in 1978. The membership and committee are made up of unpaid volunteers who provide bedside entertainment to the patients, visitors, medical staff and other employees on the Stoke Mandeville Hospital site. They are currently raising funds to them with their new premises and to update ageing equipment. For more information visit: www.smhr.co.uk

The Main Sponsor, Barclays Bank invite you to enter a team of four to help support this worthwhile charity. Barclays will be doubling the first £3000 raised on this golf day. The format will consist of the best two out of four Stableford scores to count on each hole. Teams will be competing for their name on the Trophy and a host of other prizes which have been generously donated! Players will each be allocated 7/8 handicap.

Just by entering you will be helping to raise a significant proportion of the money we are aiming to raise on the day.

Any non golfers can also participate in the evening which includes an Elvis tribute - Alvin as Elvis - absolutely hilarious and actually very convining!
