Steve Jobs said 'Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Dont be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking.' (RIP)

The Power of intuition

Steve Jobs also went on to say, 'Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your inner voice. And, most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary'

You have in your possession, right now, the most powerful tool you could ever wish for to guide you in your business, and your life. It’s your intuition. You know, that quiet whisper in the back of your mind nudging you in a particular direction, or to take a particular action.

But, how often do you truly pay attention and follow what your intuition is saying? If you’re like me, you’ve struggle with this. In the past, I used to sense that nudge, but ignored it in pursuit of some other bright, shiny, object. I’d suffer silently knowing that something was “off” but continuing to do what I “thought” I “should” do. Not only was it painful to experience, but it was really hard on my business. It’s impossible to build anything sustainable if there’s a “should” at the foundation.

So, here’s a tip you can use right away to help you access and act on your intuition. The next time you’re aware of a spontaneous thought running through your mind, stop to inquire and ask yourself what that thought is about. Sometimes it’ll be your mind doing its job of running non-stop, but you’ll discover other times when your “fleeting” thought is a true, intuitive “hit” that is worth paying attention to and perhaps acting on.

As you tune into your intuition more, please be GENTLE with yourself. Don’t expect to be a master overnight … that’s impossible. Yet, it’s VERY possible to make a conscious decision to look for (and respond to) those nudges that are pointing you to your next step.
