As a business you’ve always talked to your customers. Haven’t you?

Isn’t it about time you were part of the conversation?

So, are you part of the conversation?

Well, maybe you’ve set up a customer care line, employed some people to take care of first line support or come up with a useful generic letter to keep them all happy.

But when was the last time you really had a conversation with your customer, let them know what you’re planning, what’s going right – and, dare we say it, wrong – with your business and how you’re going to make it even better.

Because good or bad you can always be sure that your customers are talking about you.

Only now, with the ever increasing influence of the internet, it’s not just their mates at the pub or the cafe they’re telling – it’s the whole world.

This is a conversation that any modern business cannot afford not to be having a part in.

When net guru Jeff Jarvis blogged about his problems with a faulty Dell computer, and the subsequent poor customer service he received, his angry message went all around the world.

It was a PR disaster for the computer manufacturer. Google ‘Jeff Jarvis + Dell Hell‘ and you’ll see what we mean.

Eventually, Dell launched its own blog. It entered the conversation and started to listen and engage with some of its users.

According to Jarvis’ essential tome on modern business practice, What Would Google Do?, negative blog buzz about Dell dropped from 49 per cent to 22 per cent after the introduction of its blog.

We’re sure you don’t have your own ‘Dell Hell’ to deal with, but talking to your customers is still a vitally important conversation to have.

Green Umbrella can help you to get involved in that conversation.

By running a regularly updated blog on your website we can make sure that your voice is being heard.

Our expert team of copywriters can take any subject you choose and turn it into a well written and literal free blog post.

We will cater each post to the subject matter; whether it be a light-hearted piece on the office away day, a serious post about your latest performance figures or an informative segment on the latest developments in your industry.

Through subtle use of keywords, Green Umbrella will make sure your company’s posts are picked up by Google and other search engines to make sure you are reaching as many existing – and potential customers – as possible.
