Little Steve's 4N Diary
| Posted: 27th Aug 2011 - 18:04 Quote | |
Tuesday 23rd August 2011 Visited my local 4N Group - Doncaster - at the Cheswold. Great meeting as usual but I was a bit concerned that Bill Rodgers was present. Last week at the Bawtry meeting was Bill not only eyeing up my breakfast sausage he was also a bit over-familiar with me when he posed for photographs. Although I like him he moved things on a little too quickly for me. He did behave himself in Doncaster but things were a lttle cool between us! Friday 26th August 2011
Big Steve was again my driver for trip to Rotherham at the Park Inn Hotel. I had significant cause for concern that day as not only was Bill present again but Mel Downing was 4sighting about "wolves" (which I don't get on with) and of course Group Leader Gary has bin the past has physical abused me.
I needn not have worried, however, as Mel didn't bring her wolf, Gary is having anger management counselling and Bill promised not to be too over-familiar with me. The meeting was very successful on all levels and as usual the Rotherham Group generated a lot of laughter! |

Friday 2nd September 2011 It's been a quiet week. Big Steve refused to take me to Scunthorpe on Tuesday - said it was in my best interests - but I know he is very envious of my position in the Business and wanted Scunthorpe to himself. However, today we made the short journey to "Posh Bawtry" for the best 4N breakfast at the classy Bliss Food establishment. It is also one of the liveliest and fun places to visit on the 4N circuit and the relaxed, friendly (sometimes noisy) atmosphere is hard to beat. A great place to set you up for theweekend. I managed to meet some lovely people - although one or two can get a little too friendly as the pictures on my Facebook Page show. Avril Cody (St. James's Palace) was very gentle with me and Susan Rhodes (Herbalife) gave me my 1st 4N kiss. Mark Barton (Double Click Design) came all the way from Driffield and demanded he pose for a photgraph with me as he needed to boost "celeb" status. Paul Hawkes (Taylor Bracewell) and Garry Thickett (Garry Thickett Acountant) showed that Solicitors and Accountants are not always too serious but I had serious issues with Jon (Pulse Rate Training) who took advantage and planted a kiss on me!

Some of my 4N devotees at Bawtry on Friday 2nd September 2011. They can be a little over-friendly sometimes!

Tuesday 6th September 2011 Visited my local 4N Group today at the Cheswold Pub in Doncaster. Very entertaining and informative 4sight from Bill Williams (Blackstock Wills) called "Fat Bob's Kids are living in my House".
The 4N ladies were delighted to see me and there was a certain of histeria and giggling during my 40 seconds! The images of Kath Doyle ( Travel Consultant), Lorriane Heslop (Fasprint) and Laura Buxton (Ninehundred Comms) say it all!

Friday 9th September 2011 Together with my driver and bag-man Steve Skeldon (Framework's ageing Business Manager) I visited the 4N Rotherham at the rather nice Park Inn Hotel. After a rather warm welcome the fun soon started and the meeting developed into a really interesting event. Such friendly people and some real business leads made. I offered an "olive branch" to GL Gary Chester (North Star Signs) because since his unnecessary attack on me at an earlier meeting he has completed an Anger Management Course. I am not one to hold a grudge as the picture shows. I had interesting 1-2-1's with Katie Mays (Printing.Com), David Cole (Aquila Financial Services) - he was a little too affectionate, although gentle, for my liking, and Carlyne Conolly (Choose Health) who was clearly over-joyed to get her hands on me!

Sorry I've been a bit quiet on here recently - I know how much you miss my posts!
Last week I should have been in a hot far away place but my driver & bag man (Big) Steve locked me in the boot of his car at East Midlands airport! I was trapped in there for a whole week while he "busied" himself on the banks of Lake Garda, soaking up the sunshine in 30C+ temperatures, drinking Apperol Spritzers and telling my Italian fans I couldn't be bothered to see them!!!
Anyway this week I made it the Doncaster 4N meeting - not in the best of moods to begin with - but I couldn't let my adoring public down could I? However, my friend from TV, stage and PYPPS - Bill Rodgers - delivered an awsome 4sight that got everybody laughing. Even my miserable middle-aged driver Big Steve raised a smile which is some achievement. If you get the chance to see Bill deliver his 4sight you must go! Bill's "celebrity" has grown in recent weeks, helped by rubbing shoulders with me in public as this photograph shows!

It was my pleasure little Steve. I am so pleased that you smiled after such a traumatic week locked in a car, how so not nice of Big Steve to do such a thing. If you feel the need to talk to someone about your expierence and maybe find the humour in it all, the you know where I am my little friend. On another note, if you get a chance, I will introduce you to some of my bear friends and you canshare your expierences with them as a celeb bear of the 4N world. Some of them are well travelled themselve, so I feel sure you all would have so much to talk about. Maybe a picnic one day, who knows!

Hi Bill (The 2nd "L"'s silent)! Thanks for the offer of an "ear". Perhaps we can talk over one of those nice 4N breakfasts soon? Maybe at Bawtry next week? The picnic idea sounds good although it's getting a bit "backendish" for me. Thought I saw one of my Grandparents in that exceedingly good video of yours. I sang along to it did you?
My paw of friendship is offered to you, you are a true bear-friend. Bye for now, Little Steve |

Friday 30th September 2011 – Bliss Food, 4N Bawtry (Phew! Hot and sunny 29C – too hot for bears!) Well it had been 4 weeks since my last visit to 4N Bawtry and wondered if they would remember me. My fears were unfounded as the friendly Bawtry 4ners’ quickly made me feel welcome. Everyone wanted to have a chat and/or a cuddle except for a few middle aged men - especially (Big) Steve my driver - they somewhat understandably jealous of my star-status and popularity with the ladies. The meeting was its usual mix business connections and fun and Mel Downing’s 4sight about Wolves was outstanding. You must go and see her when the opportunity arises. Of course Mel is a big fan of mine and once the wolf was out of the way we were able to have a cuddle!
There was no shortage of people wanting to be seen with me as the photos show. In fact there are quite a lot of posers in Bawtry, all wanting to cash in on my celebrity status to raise their profile in the business world! Karl Hunsley - Mission Critical Services; David Cotten - Hurstons; Suzy Walgate - Juice Plus and Lee Jackson - Bliss Food.
