Scary Meeting at 4N Basildon Today

It was great to see you all today. Firstly a big thank you to Phil Priscott from Harmony IT for his 4Sight today - it was really interesting and informative despite the fact you scared the whole lot of us about the dangers of the not having the right protection - I bet sales of Virus and Malware software spike this weekend!
Another thank you to Tracey Gurney for Hilaris Designs for stepping in for Charlie Brown as our Operations Assistant today - you did a great job - thank you.
Finally got to have a 1 to 1 with Daryl Hine today - thanks Daryl (hope you got my voicemail message), also had a 1 to 1 with Larry Weller, and hopefully got a contact for him, and also a thank you to Kevin and Diana for our two-some.
As I said at the meeting we are trying to grow our core group at Basildon, so think about who or what professions or trades you would like around the table and either invite them yourselves or contact Chris Daems, our Marketing Assistant and he will invite them for you. Also it is a great opportunity to get to meet your prospects - rather than cold calling and struggle to get an appointment, why not ask Chris to contact them to invite them on behalf of 4N.
We have plenty of space at Langdon Hills Golf Club so let's make the most of it - the more people in the room the more opportunities for extra business.
Had a great 1 to 1 with Chris Daems in Romford this afternoon - thanks Chris and I mentioned you to the accountant I met afterwards and he is more than happy for you to call him - will forward his details separately.
It was really worthwhile meeting up outside of the meeting to find out more about each others businesses and to find out how exactly you can help each other.
Dan - let us know if there is any news - all looking forward to hearing of the arrival of your baby boy.
Keep networking and see you all soon.

It was a delight to go to #4N Basildon this morning, such a great venue. I really enjoyed the meeting and had three great 1-2-1's. Eventually got pinned down by Mags & we had a 1-2-1. I am now going to find out which of the 10 reasons why I should use ARGI+ really do apply to me. :)
I wasn't concerned about interest security before today, but the facts are astonishing. Thanks to Phil Priscott, we learnt alot this morning about the risks and he gave us some great simple tips on how to help ourlselve minimise some of these risks.
Looking forward to coming along to Basildon again soon!

It was a really good meeting on Friday, and the 4sight was very scary....but also incredibly insightful!!
I had some really good 10 minutes 121's and a great meeting with Mags later on and hopefully shared some ideas to help both our businesses.
Looking forward to the next 4n basildon!!
See you soon,

Hi all, great meeting and lovely to see you all again as well as some new faces.
Good to meet Daryl, who, it transpires, used to work in insurance(!!) - congratulations to him for escaping!
Only 10 days left until due date so if I don't see you at the next meeting you will know why!
Look forward to catching up with everyone again soon.

Very late in posting but a great meeting. I really enjoy the Basildon group and thoroughly recommend it to all 4Ners.
As if we needed any more information to support my little 4sight it was announced today that Mitsubishi Heavy Industries were attacked by Cybercriminals and 80 of their servers compromised. Worrying situation for Japans biggest weapons maker! Biggest risk - the employees as it was apparently a "Spear Phishing" attack.
Tips - keep your computers updated - all software!
Use a good antivirus - Kaspersky or similar
Use a good antimalware - Malwarebytes is best of breed
Use a Mail filter if relevant - Postini (now owned by Google) is very good and reasonable.
Run regular scans on your machines, backup your data and watch out for Rogue/Fake Antivirus.
See you next time,
