Yet again Wetherby was a record breaker - 32 in the room - we were busting at the seams, but, what a fantastic meeting yet again. The team at Wetherby are doing great things, the group has an awesome vibe, and one of the best breakfasts in the region. It was great to see some of our regular members and passporters, but particularly our 5 visitors today, 2 of whom joined on the spot (the others I am hunting down......*joke*).
As usual there was some good heckling during the 40 second intro round, during which we discovered that Sam Oakes shoots puppies (don't worry, he's a photographer), and Neil Crawford, Sam & Jon Hilton were all ready to start throwing their car keys into the middle of the room, at which point I had to stress it wasn't THAT kind of meeting. Jon delivered an unforgettable 4Sight. If you haven't heard his incredible story, then you need to make sure you find him on the 4N circuit and do so - it puts a lot of things into a very different perspective, and please do support him with Bullets to Business (visit his 4N profile to find out more). You may be wondering why I am writing the group hug and not David - well, I took the opportunity of using my 40 seconds to remind everyone that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and wanted to share the same here. Please do whatever you can to help raise awareness and money for research into early detection and treatment for breast cancer. Ian Clarke is stepping up to the plate by running 10k and is looking for sponsorship - visit his profile to get in touch and find out how you can pledge your support.

Really was an absolute delight to see so many new faces, along with the usual suspects! A smashing morning and a few leads too If theattendance figures keep going up like this a, a shoe horn will be needed at the next meeting to get everyone in!! |

Wow, some meeting at Wetherby today, great 4Sight, 5 visitors, super breakfast (just how high can a plate be piled???), great buzz in the room. The biggest problem I faced was getting people to move on after their 1-2-1's, they were just too busy doing business, building relationships, getting to know, like and trust each other. Fantastic, love it. If you haven't been to Wetherby for a while, don't miss next time on October 18th. |

WOW = Wetherby or Wembley. The crowd and the buzz made for an amazing meeting. Thanks to everyone for your support during and after my 4sight, tears again lol. Wow guys you set out your stall today and this keeps up you'll be giving York and Leeds/East a run for their money although Harrogate has 40 (and full) booked in for tomorrow.
