there's so much more than bums on seats and variety - its personalities, atmosphere, quality, quality, quality Its not just profit margins 4N is a business too at the end of the day, I am pretty sure they would not want to make huge losses every month. (Not that they would, but of course it is about making money). Who is to say that employees rather than startups won't have personality or quality though? Yes I agree that if there are 100 smarmy sales fellas just selling going to breakfasts it wouldnt be that good, if it was 100 people from different aspects of a business then it would be interesting. A bit of market research would need to be done really to even see if there was any potential for the idea, then how it would work etc.

HSBC & Nat West both have a number of their staff as members, so does WPA. 4N is built on PERSONAL relationships, not on having a representative from a plc in the room. I agree that smaller businesses, partnerships and companies with only a few staff (less than 10) could be elegible for some sort of discount but there's no way Nat West should. |

Sorry, but are people that work for bigger companies not people too? I'm sure the local biz advisor for Natwest still needs services and can be a positive part of any group. |

More people to meet, more people to talk to etc. Being totally selfish business owners, how is that bad? Sure, Brad might look at the numbers and go, "you know what, it's not worth it to implement". |

They are. That's the point. Just having 'whoever' from Nat West turn up isn't the 4N way. But the bank can definitely afford to pay full price for each employee. as for them requiring services, that wouldn't be what Nat West wanted them to be there for. |
