Full House at Sunny Scunny

Well not so Sunny outside, but inside at the 4N meeting this morning you could feel the heat... Great atmosphere and a packed pub to boot!

Mike Thorold did a fantastic 4Sight about the awareness of diabetes. Thanks for sharing some personal stuff with us Mike and giving us a greater awareness of this disease.  We could all lead a healthier and happier life with a few small changes to our lifestyle if we try.

Agreed...

Great bunch, great breakfast, 17 cups of tea...is there a better way to start the day?

First time to the Scunthorpe meeting for me - and what a lovely bunch of people and businesses!  I look forward to many more busy and productive meetings!

I said on the forum last Friday after Scunthorpe won an award from Google as their best UK eTown that Scunthorpe is clearly the place to be, and todays buzzing 4N meeting proved this :-)

I agree it was a great meeting and a really useful 4sight from Mike, and can I just add that I think Ben from Eagle Eye is doing a great job as our new Group Leader.

Thanks for having me this morning, and putting up with my corny 40 seconds (at least you can say it was different if nothing else)

Despite setting off late, arriving even later and my banner falling over twice - I didn't put the "foot" in position - the meeting in Scunny (My 3rd) was fab! My early moring stress soon lifted!

Really informative 4sight from Mike with whom I also had a useful 1-2-1 with. Thanks also to Rachel Perry and Colin Pciken for some enlightening and informative 1-2-1's - I look forward to continuing our discussions sometime soon. 

Thanks to Steve for all his efforts as area leader. He has created a vibrant group here in Scunny - the view over the steelworks alone makes the visit worthwhile and its great to see more neighbouring members passporting in.

Mikes 4sight was both entertaining and informative but I wish he hadn't looked at me every time he mentioned obesity. ( I was sat next to John Heslop though.....)

..........and what is that supposed to mean Colin???? I'm not obese, just a little rotund around the middle.

Better late than never with a comment....great 4 sight from Mike, very informative and useful to everyone in the room, without exception I'm sure.

Always a frendly group, always look foward to my Tuesday fix !

Really disappointed I couldn't stay on for the learning session but I people to feed.....:-(
