Yes, we're working between Christmas and New Year although we don't envisage it being very busy.

Hi Jane

We will be working, Although, we have said to staff to have the time off and enjoy Christmas.

It's a great time for reflecting, planning and delivering on a few items.

I sincerely believe that we should take time off - refresh our batteries and get ready for the new year..

I'm tired at the moment - keeping myself motivated and my clients up beat - sometimes its hard to keep going - my Summer holiday is a a far off memory- are you tired?

I agree completely about taking time out - I always take 1 day off every week to refresh.  Hope christmas is a nice relaxing time for you.

Im a little tired, I think thats post-party antics at 4N this weekend though.

Usually takes until Wed to recover these days Wink

I will be working throughout the XMAS and New Year period.

As far as I can see, not all businesses close - Any business with subscribes with me during the Bank Holidays do not need to pay the £127.00 member fee with me and just pays the £30.00.

Worth considering.http://www.yellowcom.co.uk/nottingham

Have  a look at www.yellowpage.co.uk/nottingham and grow your client base in 2012.

I look forward to hearing from you.

No work for me from Thursday lunchtime to the new year. I've worked my arse off this year and deserve a little break. I will therefore be nicely refreshed to kick the crap out of 2012.

Last year I had zero work after a bad period so I spent the time planning my comeback.

This year I'm swamped and will be using the break to catch up on a lot of projects. Planning a week off in January instead

... the joy of being ill just before Christmas and taking some time out then, means that I will be flat out between Christmas and New Year.  Still, I guess I shouldn't complain - after years of employment where I have been fortunate to get annual leave during that period, it will be the first time that I have done it and at least my commute is mercifully short - about 10 feet!!!! I am, though I plan to have some time off here & there. We're launching a Wellness Centre in January, & we have our first personal development workshop too. So, lots to do, but I love it.

The key is finding balance, as & Jane mentioned above, it's about finding space in our weeks, & even on a daily basis to stop & refresh. Then, we can won't feel as drained come this time of the year.

Got a couple of revamps and lots of backend stuff to do however during the holidays I tend to do my bits and pieces once the kids have gone to bed, so rest during the day (if I can call it that) and work until about midnight.
