Cracking finish to the year at Ely

Everyone was on form, even Geoff surpassed himself proving that Accountants are magicians, turning a teatowel into a turkey! Sue, being far too serious and fining everyone(although in a very good cause, the charity Action Duchenne for which one of our members is raising money)!

WE had the lovely, amazing Corrinne visiting us who apart from being wonderful is a fantastic artist and raw food chef. as odd number I had a 1 2 1 with Corrinne and Elke.

Those that were unable to make this one missed an interesting anorak! Ivan kept us amused, spoke with passion about Eddie Stobbart, and showed the importance of having a brand with clarity of value. If you see Ivan 4sighting anywhere, travel to see him, you won't regret it.

Chris Grady visisted us from Bury (c'mon passporters, use the passport more), I had an interesting 1 2 1 with him as well as with Ivan.

Good to see the indomitable Mr H gracing us with his presence! We would like to see more of you Chris, always welcome at entertaining Ely.

We are now looking for a new Marketing assistant, the last two marketing assistants got too much work and had to step doen! So if you would like that challenge, please step up, I'm sure Geoff or Sue are ready to teach you all you need to know!

Thanks for the report Ken. I know how busy everyone is at this time of year. They must be, because they weren't with us yesterday!!

It must have been a real chore for you to have a 121 with Corinne and Elke, Ken!!!. (Why are yours blue and mine are not) I spoke with Corinne after the meeting and can't wait to hear her foresight. She has brought 'Thinking outside the box' to a whole new level!!

What a meeting. We had singing and dancing and that's before mentioning Sue's legs which were bouncing around with elf. She didn't mention whipping once!!!

Great foresight and well presented Ivan. We will book you again soon for sure.

I must reiterate Ken's point about the Marketing assistant. It seems a position which brings lots of payable work. If anyone is looking to try a new position (oo er missus!!) in the New Year lets us know.

The next foresight is from Elke and I think will help us to overcome the Christmas stress with some interesting ideas. Remember to book early because numbers are limited and everyone will not have broken their New Years Resolution to do more networking!!!

Great meeting - full of Christmas spirit, jingling bells and magic tricks - what more do you want!

Fab 4sight from Ivan - and isn't it funny how you suddenly start noticing things - like the Eddie Stobart truck parked in the layby on the A142 on my way home! And....get this - fast forwarding through some adverts on Channel 5, had to rewind to see what was an Eddie Stobart truck doing? ANswer - trailer -(oh, sorry) for programme on Christmas Eve about.....the Eddie Stobart fleet!! Not to be missed, is Ivan the presenter?? But...seriously, some great tips in the 4sight on branding, and getting a huge following - thanks Ivan.

Yes....need a marketing assistant to join the cracking team at Ely, and continue the high flying performance!

I can only agree with Sue, Geoff and Ken: Great  4Sight Ivan. Don't forget he is doing a special workshop "Seconds to success" on Monday, 23rd January in Cambridge where you can learn how to use your 40 seconds wisely when you do your pitch. I am the first one booked as far as I know, but I think it's going to be invaluable! So this might be a new year's resolution ...

My 4Sight on 4th January will be - once again - hands on, i.e. you get to do stuff. "New Year, new you! - Office stretches". This will hopefully do us all good after having sat on the couch for too many hours over Christmas .... and hopefully you will be able to apply some of it in the office for the rest of the year.

It was great to get back to Ely. Ivan's 4sight was one of fascinating stories with real lessons for biz folk in it.

The Eddie Stobart truck in the Lay by on the 142 was the second one I saw on the way home, they really are everywhere!!

I've had a consultation with Ivan before now, and it is certainly worth your while. Very thought invoking. So I'm not surprised at the great response he got from his 4Sight.... one question though.... did you all want to be the Toblerone at the end of his 4Sight or Eddie Stobart??

Great Meeting and Ivans 4 Sight was fantastic, to see him running, dancing and singing round the room was not to be missed.

What ever he's got he should bottle it and sell it !
