The Welsh Business show was first launched in June 2009, and I am proud to say that the show is now entering its third successful year.

Due to the success of the Welsh Business show, and by popular demand the shows are now expanding UK wide, with 2 more shows in Wales, and launching in England starting with Bristol in winter 2012.

This expansion has lead to the re-branding as the UK Business Shows which went live yeaterday. Please take a few moments to have a look at the site, and give me your thoughts.

Thanks, EM.

Looks great Em.

The only thing I noticed was really minor. The drop down menus are a totally different style and colour to the main menu buttons. Sort of looks like 2 menus merged together.

By the looks of it you plan to take over the world is on schedule LOL

Did you get that software sorted out in the end? I'm not about this week due to family bereavement but by all means give me a call next week to see if we can get that idea back up and running

Hey, generally speaking it's pretty good. I definitely think this could be improved and touched-up in a few ways but you have a good foundationt to work from.

In regards to the graphics and aesthetics... I think all the colours blend well and it looks consistent, it meshes... I think the header / logo and a lot of the site imagery could be improved and stylizied a little better....

Also, I think you should change the colour of the drop-down menu from red to something else as blends a little too well, and I think the average user... I dunno, it's not just ideal visually. Needs a little distinction.

And, at the bottom, where you have the 'Show Sponsors' link(s), each link is linked separately where as I think you meant it as one. I think you could have a nice neat little graphic here instead too. Looks more professional than an underlined hyperlink.

Anyway, overall it's a great foundation - some improvements can be made, but that's always the case with websites, it's a building process. Constant refinement. But well done so far, lookss good.

I could actually do a 'touch-up' service for you as well if you like, I wouldn't charge much but... I'd take what you have and, refine and improve it and work with you and tighten things up Let me know if you're interested.

Cheers, Nick

It's not bad, but it feels like there's too much going on on the home page.  My eyes don't know where to look.  It needs some more white space, some dividing lines... something like that.  Also it'd be better for SEO/users if the page titles were changed so that they say more than just "home page".

Hope that helps

Cheers

Dave

Not a good designer myself so wont comment, although I do think it looks good, just not polished.

However I did want to say change the page title immediately. At the moment it says "home page".  Changing this to what you want to be found for on google will really help with rankings.

eg: I changed mine to "Business IT support in Wakefield, Leeds" and I now rank #2 for Wakefield and #6 or #7 for Leeds

Do you rely on email for business?

Do you manage email on multiple devices? eg: laptop and smart phone?

Are you sick of wasting time deleting mail and managing your calendar on those devices individually?

Drop me a line or and email and find out how you could save time and money with the Office 365 cloud!
