The difference in price between Petrol and Diesel used to be 1 or 2p per litre, recently it has been creeping up to 6 or 7p.

Today I passed a BP service station where the difference was 10p per litre.

I'd be intersted in seeing if the difference varies across the network.

Is it true that the UK is the only country where Diesel is (a lot) higher than Petrol?

All (most?) other countries exactly the other way round. Why?
