Today, 6th Feb 2012, is my 4th anniversay in 4N so I thought I'd share some of the highlights particularly since many claim they get nothing out of 4N.  Well that depends on what you want!  Look for that huge order and you will be disappointed.  Take a realistic view and you will be amazed at just what you get from 4N.

Some stats

Joined Feb 6th2008 in Oxford
12thMarch 2008 launch ed High Wycombe as Group Leader (75thgroup or thereabouts) (Oxford, 25 miles away, was the nearest to passport in those days)
June 2008 asked to become Area Leader (did I draw the short straw?)
2008 Relaunch Milton Keynes
18thSept 2008 launch Aylesbury
14thJuly 2009 launch Gerrards Cross/Beaconsfield (only to learn 3 days later that the venue wanted to hike the price of breakfast - result - look for new venue!  Oh!  I also needed to find High Wycombe a new venue that week)
30th November 2011 resigned as AL due to mounting work load

424 breakfasts  (the best is still in Beaconsfield!)

Some comment

I’ve had lots of fun and laughter along the way although there has been some irritation and frustration when things didn’t go as I envisaged. (Yes, I’ve stamped my feet a few times).

I’ve made new friends and some new enemies, (OK that’s too strong but you know what I mean). And there’s been sadness as people have become ill, or worse.

Working from home, often alone, means 4N has provided me with a great staff room.  I’ve gained plenty of new ideas, learned new skills and had old ideas and techniques confirmed.  4N training has taught me much including how to overcome obstacles and promote my business to other networkers.  I’ve gained confidence in public speaking and in presentation skills.

I’ve had plenty of personal support, particularly when my wife was ill and in hospital.  Members rallied round and kept me going and even helped raise over £3000 for charity – how many organisations can boast that, I wonder?

I’ve had new business and found new suppliers.  What more can one ask for?

Put simply: it works for me

And what a coincidence that there was a lead for you on the forum today! I remember your first meeting.

Good to see you a couple of weeks ago and lovely to hear from you.
