My last mtg as GL at Newport & Announcing the new ...

Next Tuesday will be my last meeting as Group Leader for 4n Newport now that I am taking on the role as Regionla Leader for south wales.

So who is taking over I hear you ask?

I am thrilled to announce the ever wonderful Peter Maynard from FWD Law will be taking over the Group Leader role and no doubt delivering the script in a perfect fashion!  Peter has been a terrific Marketing Assistant and a huge part of this successful group.

Mark Bellew from WSI (aka Mr Jelly Tot) is taking over as Marketing Assistant and will no doubt be booking the visitors in very soon.

Lucy Scott from Admin and Errands will continue to keep the rabble in check to ensure that the meeting runs to plan and we can squeeze in all the pass porters and visitors.

I would LOVE you to join us for my last meeting ( reading the script in my own 'special' style)...book in now or add your name to the thread and we will do it for you!

Equally sad and happy day for me, next Tuesday.

Really sad that Michelle is stepping down - she's bloody good at the GL role - but also really excited (aka terrified!!) of taking over as GL.

We also have the inimitable King Bazza doing the 4Sight, so should be an all round good meet.

Come on - let's send Michelle off to her new role with the biggest numbers yet

She's not going anywhere, she's Regional Leader so youve got her for life.....oh dear lol!!!

Congrats Peter, well deserved, you'll be great at it, this is just he beginning of things to come cos we're on fiiiiiiiiirrrrrrrre!!!!

Congrats on the new role, Michelle, I'm sure you'll be an incredible success just as you have been as AL for SE Wales and GL at Newport. You'll be a tough act to follow, glad you'll still be around.

I am booked in and looking forward to this meet as you've got to love a King Bazza 4sight (are you bringing your chilli plants again?)

This will also be my first working day of the week, as I will be returning 'fresh' from a weekend in Brighton with 22 other ladies on a hen weekend............

I am really sad to be handing over the script , you all know how great i am at reading it (lol) and also how much I love generally being a bit bossy!

The new team are fantastic and of course I will be right beside them to make sure that Newport goes from strength to strength.

Numbers are rising...let's rock this meeting. 

PS. Tim - I DEMAND that passport is used for the first time at Newport please x

Ah yes, I guess Peter will want to put his legalese spin on the script...

the act of the provision of said script hereinafter appearing or will at the behest of the parties hereto forthwith comply with the same script as forbearance or promise by one party hereto that constitutes the reading for which the promise of the other party is bought

Which roughly translates as, 'I'll be following the same script for our 4ners'

Bloody glad you translated that for us Mark - I didn't have a clue what you were talking about!!

eeech, I was bluffing, for all I know it means 'if your not in bed by 10, come home'
