Retford's Winter Wonderland!
| Posted: 10th Feb 2012 - 12:31 Quote | |
Well, it was a wonderful winter wonderland at the West Retford Hotel this morning! 21 intrepid members braved the snowdrifts to find a warm welcome at our friendly supportive group
Our 4Sighter was Gill Tuxworth, accompanied by "Leroy", who endeared himself to everyone while Gill gave many useful insights into dog behaviour and answered lots of questions. If you want to know who Leroy is, you'll have to catch Gill's 4Sight in future!
Many thanks to all who turned out despite the weather, and we look forward to welcoming you again on February 24th when, who knows, it might even be tropical!

As usual a really uplifting morning and informative foresight, sets me up for the day. Could do with the plates being a tad warmer for my breakfast though! |

Apologies for not making it this morning, but my car would not go up or down my street/hill, so I couldn't get out the village until it had been cleared a bit by other vehicles. Perils of living in a hilly village! |

Yeah.... gonna try them out on the husband first though, before the dog! REally pleased that so many members turned up for the meeting this morning - despite the nasty road conditions. just goes to show that the Retford group continues to have a 'draw' - and it's still early days! Remember all - WE LOVE VISITORS !.... So if you know of anybody you think would benefit from joining our group (even better, benefit YOU by joining our group) please, please, please let Mel, Naomi or myself have a name and number and we'll give them a call to invite them - You KNOW how friendly we are so they'll be in good hands! Have a great weekend all! V x |

Lovely to see so many people turn out in subzero temperatures to come to Retford's meeting. A warm lively group as ever with a spirit of the blitz feel as we'd all battled the elements to come together. Gill's 4sight was very entertaining and Leroy was the icing on the cake - what a character. I've always maintained that the dog techniques we teach are highly transferrable to husbands alike! Great to have new visitors along too but always wanting to welcome more to share our support & fun with, so I reiterate Vikky's request to let us know anyone you know that you'd like us to invite. Looking forward to the next meeting when Social Media Kym will be 4sighting for us. |

Excellent meeting on Friday at Retford, lovely to see so many people could make it despite the weather. Great foresight by Gill and Leroy, informative, funny and definitely something I learnt from. As usual there was a friendly and supportive atmosphere in the room from all those who attended. Thanks also to Mel, Naomi and Vikky.
