Helo everyone, I think todays meeting has to be the most boysterouse and fun meeting I have been to so far with a great mix of personalities. Ali thank you for stepping in and doing the group leader role which allowed me to do the 4sight this week, this was a bit of a challange as I have never done one before as was having a last minute panic attack. Hopefully now everyone knows what a cloud is, not just a sheep with no legs ;-) At our next 4sight on the 9th of March, Polly Taylor will be telling us about the Pickering Cancer Drop In Centre - our area charity We already have 18 people signed up for the next meeting which must be a record, so book in quickly if you want to rounfd your week off with a fantstic breakfast. Chris.

It certainly was a fun meeting Chris and although it cost me rather a lot in fines I think that our new charity is a worthwhile cause. I look forward to hearing all about it at our next meeting. Well done with your first 4sight and de-mistyfying the cloud for us. I shall no longer just think of clouds as being sheep with no legs! I am sure you will soon be doing further 4sights at other group meetings. Have a great weekend everybody and I look forward to seeing you all again on the 9th if not before. Glyn |

Well done Chris, and with at least 4 geeks present (albeit 1 who'd moved on to better things) it was a technical, although very accessible, 4Sight and discussion. I found it really interesting and stimulating, as I'm sure did the non-geeks. For 4N'ers who'd like to read more about cloud computing I recommend the recent plain English article in ComputerActive magazine, which can be found at http://www.computeractive.co.uk/ca/pc-help/2129568/benefits-cloud-computing See you all in 2 weeks time. I had great fun at Friday's meeting and have never laughed so much at a 4N meeting before. I also managed to get some good business done inbetween all the laughter. I'm looking forward to the next meeting already. Well done Chris, Kirsty and Ali. |

Chris you were brill - I now feel slightly less foggy about cloud computing (meteorological jokes rule) and thanks Bruce for the absolute idiots guide too. Glynn - you deserved every one and more! It was my pleasure to inflict myself on you lovely people in Edenbridge. Although not the closest group to me in Maidstone I know it is a brilliant cross over group for businesses just over the borders and into london, so could have real strategic advantages for anyone wanting to spread their wings without trebling their fuel consumption. I always say that you should use your passport creatively - Edenbridge is your opportunity to do just that. Thanks for making me very welcome, as ever and for the great new connections and reconnections I have made. Value+++ |
