My 22 year old son was recently medically discharged from the army with PTSD. He desperately needs his own accomadation in the Chepstow Gwent area. He is on employment support (old incapacity benefit) and will receive housing benefit. He can afford around £350-£400 per month. Hi Patrisha I am afraid I can't help with the accommodation problem - but may I suggest you have a look at some of the information on 'EFT' or Emotional Freedom Technique. It has been getting great results for many VETS in America> I am not sure if there are any practitioners working with PTSD here but a good EFT practitioner should be able to help your son come through this more easily. I work with Flower Remedies that may also help but I don't have the weight of research that EFT has for the condition. Thanks Trish Hi Patrisha There is a charity called PTSD Resolution run by ex military who have experienced or experiencing PTSD. They have Pub Hubs around the country. http://ptsdresolution.org/ They'll be able ot help with the change to civvie life, PTSD treatment and may know people/landlords in Chepstow.

Thank you all for your help and suggestions. He is currently receiving treatment/ rehabilitationt through and organisation called Quantum Performance www.quantumperformance.org, the British Legion are also on the case, however finding affordable accomadation where they take Housing Benefit in the Chepstow area is the problem.
