Wow, if you're like me you would not have thought Pigeon Racing could be so fascinating and fun. Superb 4Sight from Les Clarke of Efar Ltd this morning who took us on a journey that involved sex, corruption, intrique and the oddest looking timing machines that spend half their time in the oven and the other half in the freezer (if you're a knobbler, of course). Great fun, Les, thanks for putting the nutty into Nutty Newport this morning. Thanks to everyone else for making it a vibrant meeting, with 31 attendees it was lively. Thanks to Del Jones, Steve Gregory and Tony Castle for 1-2-1's great to meet you (or in Steve case, to see you again) and looking forward to seeing you again soon. Congrats to Mad Dog Maynard on managing to finish 'exactly at 10 'o' clock, incredible timing. Cheers, JT.

Brilliant meeting this morning guys and Les I have to say a hilarious 4sight! Who'd of thought that Pigeon fanciers could be so deceptive and sneaky! Anyway, perhaps you need some sort of tracking device for those pigeons via GPS instead of using a map........ Now who do I know that sells tracking! #buymystuff Although we've never fitted them on birds...... Yet! Great meeting Team Newport and yes, it now definitely lives up to its name of NUTTY!!! PS. Tracey Hopkins and Zoe Corbin are bad influences re: sniffing bacon!! |

Brilliant meeting - thanks to Mark, Lucy and Sledge for helping everything to run smoothly. As for the 4Sight, well any of you that thought that pigeon racing was just for flat-capped Yorkshiremen, better think again - the Belgian breeder who made 1.9 million euros at a recent sale means that I am now expecting pigeon fancier to appear on the 4N list of business types very soon!!
