Monumental Meeting for Maximus at Mighty Monmouth – March 23

As you may well be aware by now - http://www.4networking.biz/Forum/ViewTopic/116939?page=2#p897818 this will be the last Mighty Monmouth meeting for Maximus as Group Leader as he takes his troops Northwards to conquer the new lands of Abergavenny for his 4N Roman Empire – and I’m then let loose as GL for MM.
 
Consequently, I thought we should try to find some fitting way to provide a good send-off for Phil to reflect the quality of the group that he’s built at Mighty Monmouth over the last year+.  The best I could come up with was a full circus parade through the streets of Monmouth.  Unfortunately it’s already been done – as you can see here –

Consequently I thought I’d throw the thread open for ideas to give Phil a great last meeting to go with the other 32 great meets that he’s led for us.

Apologies, I can't be there for Phil's last meeting as it's the penultimate FTC 4sight at Caerphilly but have a great meet and enjoy the festivities!

Sadly I will not be able to attend as the lure of cheap golf at another 4N Venue nearbye has swayed me. Good luck to Mark & Phil. My first meeting at 4N was the first day that Phil was thrust in charge - December 2010 and Mark was amongst the first 4N'rs I met. (and yes i still joined :) )There were 11 people huddled together for warmth at the Riverside Hotel. Since then Monmouth has come on in leaps and bounds with a fantastic new venue, delivering impressive average attendances all under the gladiatorial leadership of Maximus - well done Phil and good luck with Abergavenny.

Ongoing jury service allowing, I'm looking forward to being with you all on Friday. If I'm still deliberating that case you can bet that I'll be singlehandedly bringing back the death penalty... for anyone who doesn't agree with me!

Phil, you're an awesome GL and I know Abergavenny will have the very best start possible with you at the helm. Mark, you so deserve this chance and I'm so looking forward to working with you over the coming months to make sure we do justice to the group that Maximus built.

I too was at the Riverside meeting Mick alludes to - Mark and I clearly didn't try hard enough to put him off.

As for the meeting on 23/3, surely the theme should be "what have the Romans ever done for you?"

Phil.... You have indeed done a fantastic job in making Monmouth one of the best meets around. I was one of those people who used to attend at the Riverside Hotel when there were 11 in the room and look where Monmouth is now!!! Good luck with Abergavenny and I'm sure you will have great meetings with great teams in place and you a the helm

Still 4 days to go to Maximus's swan song at Mighty Monmouth and we already have mid-20s booked, including 4 Visitors.

It's not too late though.  Book in now. Or ask me and I'll do it. Or post on here - and we'll pick it up.
