About to launch, does my website have a good feel? :)

Hi everyone, hope everyone is okay

I am to launch my business on the 14th and want to make sure everything is looking good and appealing to the eye. If you get a chance to look at my website could you let me know how you find it,  i would be so grateful.

I'll leave the graphics people to comment on the overall look & feel but functionality (user and search engine) could use some work:

buildonfitness.co.uk won't load for me - it needs the www. in front of it. That's a simple setting somewhere in your hosting admin panel - most ones I've used in recent years do this automatically so not sure where to point you but your techie or hosts' help area should sort it.

The scrolling text is very 1990's - I'd get rid of it and replace it with a call to action & a phone number.

I'd make the email links clickable.

Your page naming is weird e.g. http://www.buildonfitness.co.uk/#/pt-packages/4562549706 Not sure where the # sign gets involved or why the incredibly long number is needed.

Normal convention is to go back to the home (index) page when you click the logo but your site takes me to a log-in screen.

Twitter is being updated but Facebook looks neglected.

Pricing: good to see open prices but how long is a session?

I take it the (unlinked) credit for the website designer was in return for a cheaper package price?

Phone number with command above the fold please, preferably top right!

Hi Owen. You've had some professional advice on your website from Trevor, but from a laymans perspective I think aesthetically it look fine and I found the layout logical and navigation easy. Load time for the pictures on the home page seemed a bit slow. Trevor makes a good point about how long each session lasts and I would also agree about making the email links clickable. The text is well written and informative. I'm not keen on the scrolling text either, but this is obviously subjective. Maybe use the same font as the rest of the webpages. 

It must be the lateness of the hour, its been a long day, but I wasn't keen. The background, the Flash, the speed all put me off. And then, in a fit of pique, I tested it against with my Blackberry and what a difference. Great seeing a mobile site.

I agree with what has been written so far, it is nice and friendly and informative but yes it does need tweaking in few places to make it easier to use.

I have also had a look at your Twitter and Facebook pages and I see that you have arranged to have a good background for your Twitter but did you know that you could also have a good photo or your logo on your Facebook to help promote your business? 

I do offer a service that can sort out image issues, if you are interested have a look at my website and/or get in touch.

I think i am going to echo most other peoples replies and they

• Domain with www. does not load, domain DNS problem i think. 
• Site seems a bit slow loading
• Contact details need to be more visible
• Maybe add a bit of colour into the site i.e. coloured text or backgrounds
• You need SEO friendly urls so get rid of the numbers if possible
• Remove the "website by" for one its too big and looks a mess and it does not serve any purpose because its not linked.
• Website content is perfect.
