Two time cancer survivor fundraising at 4N Reigate for the Royal Marsden

As a regular at Reigate, when I asked Area leader Eleana for ideas to help me fundraise she kindly suggested running an auction. So we will be running a great 4N auction at Reigate June 27th, and would love your kind donations of products or services. All proceeds are going to the Royal Marsden Hospital, what can your business donate? A million thanks to the donations so far which are:

What can your business offer on the day?????  WHY do it? ..you may be asking.

In 2007 The Royal Marsden got me through throat cancer successfully and in 2010, when it re-appeared in my chest,I was given a 10-40% chance of survival and they did it again. It’s my way of saying thank you for saving my life, which I did in 2007 raising £7,000 by trekking Iceland, this year I will be trekking Nepal in November and aim to beat the 2009 total.

I love these events and Keith is fundraising for such a worthy cause. I would like to add an assorted box of my hand crafted Christmas cards. Not sure how many will be in it but each one will be unique and the value will be more than £50.00.

I would be delighted to offer a hypnotherapy consultation (or relaxation session) worth £60 for Keith's fantastic cause. Hypnotherapy might not be to everyone's liking but surely no one would turn down the option to have an hour of complete mind/body relaxation after a long day of hard work?! As Keith said we're happy to offer a free training place on our Beginners Makaton training course! worth £150. I'll even throw in some rude words so you can impress your friends! Other big uses are getting your friends to by you drinks at the bar without leaving your seat and getting dates with fireman!

I'd love to offer 3 hours of cleaning for auction. I can put a monetary value on it, but I think really I'd prefer to let the winning bidder decide how much it is worth to not have to scrub the bathroom! If they are feeling really generous, I can even offer this as a gift certificate so you can win my services for someone else. Now THAT'S altruism. Unfortunately, my offer doesn't come with potential dates with a fireman (although that certainly caught my eye Laura!) but I think it could still be good for your love life. I'm sure a guy who pays for someone else to do the washing up is almost as attractive as a guy who does the washing up himself. ;)
