Languages for Life Ltd is your friendly, approachable and very professional language provider offering competitive rates. We are proud of being ISO9001-2008 registered which underlines that Languages for Life Ltd stands for Quality.
Over the past few weeks we were busy updating a welcome brochure into French, Arabic, Swahili and Somali for the British Red Cross, preparing voice-over assignments and transcript translations, all types of translations in and out of English, have just quoted for a translation from Spanish into German, had numerous interpreting assignments and are also busy in providing language tuition, amongst others for Siemens.
We work with private customers, SMEs and large companies providing any required language related service such as translating, interpreting, language tuition, proof-reading, voice-over etc. Skype tuition is becoming more popular, because our clients can learn a language when it suits them, wherever they are. Hi Brigitte I have receied a few e-mails from the Mussel Club. My understanding is that they are a pay as you go networking group with no membership fees, you only pay for attending the meeting. In addition, they offer free on line networking if you sign up to them. |

Hi, I occasionally attend Mussel Club events in York. As Gareth says, it's a non-membership organisation. And the events I've been to have been free (usually sponsored by a local business). It's particularly active in the North East. I don't use the website although I often get connection requests. I've found it useful as ad-hoc networking as you do meet different people but the events I've been to have been mostly social rather than structured networking. |

Hi Brigette / All, I joined the club some months ago, there's no cost, you get a decent profile page, and you build your connections just like Linkedin, other chums are quite correct, you get invites to meets which have a sponsor, the best bit, depending on your industry is the chance to be included in a tender invitation of local councils, ie, as a member you're sent a list of upcoming tenders. it's just another way of keeping up your profile. It's mostly the North East area, but they are expanding. regards |

The Mussel Club is developing as a platform to promote other networking events as well as our own. Registration and membership is FREE (there are no hidden premium areas). Over the next couple of months we are upgrading the site to include tender information and recruitment of apprentices, graduates and college leavers but membership will remain FREE. If anyone has any questions about the Mussel Club or would like to promote their events via the platform please email geoff@themusselclub.com i hope to see / speak to you soon Geoff |
