Evening meetings - feeling like part of the network now
| Posted: 25th Apr 2012 - 23:39 Quote | |
I went along to the launch of Evening! 4Networking in Whitchurch tonight and noticed just how integrated the evenings feel to the rest of the network now. Interestingly a number of the visitors there didn't even know we did breakfast networking as well and would have joined even if we were 'just' an evening group. Someone predicted that the evening network could get as big as the breakfast network. I'm starting to believe them now. |

Ooh this is really encouraging. Change always takes time to bed in. Sounds fab last night. How cool will it be having a full scale evening network as large as am once. 600 groups.. Coolio |

I am so VERY excited about the launch of Farnborough next week - we'll then have two great evening networking groups in our area with Whitchurch sounding like it was brilliant - running alongside the brilliant breakfasts this all feels so positive. I can see benefits to the morning network already as we have people booking in for first visit to Farnborough to get that great lanch deal and already booking to attend the Fleet breakfast the week after :-) |

Elstree evening launch on Tuesday night was fantastic .... attracting all sorts of people who up until now have found it difficult to make breakfast meetings, so haven't looked into 4N / Other networking. We see lots of potential for this group, and we're lucky to have a fantastic and easily accessible venue ! Good to hear positive feedback from other regions also - keep those evening groups coming ! |

I was really wary of the evening networking. Not agin it, just didn't see what it really offered over and above what we already had. I went to the launch of the evening meetings at Chepstow last week. WOW!!!! Fantastic meeting. Totally different vibe to the breakfast meetings. Totally different crowd, and already we are seeing some of them feed into the breakfast meetinsg around here. I probably won't go to that many evening meetings (it's bath and story time for my little boy I'm afraid!!) but I consider myself a total convert. 'Nuff said. |

Sat at lunch today someone mentioned they won't do 4N because they don't do breakfasts - that excuse will soon be redundant once more evening groups launched - then it will be something else but reducing barriers can only be a good thing |

Elstree on Tuesday was an eye opener, I had no idea that so many new people would be there. It was an energised room and look forward to the next one. Good news that as James said the "I don't do breakfast" excuse will no longer be an excuse for giving 4N a go. |

This is so encouraging, often with anything new people resist it. I promise you right at the heart of what we are doing with 4N is to make a positive difference. The more clout 4N has the more people we can help. 2012 is te year we begin the move to mainstream networking.. |
