Morning everyone, I am Nick WIlson of Crooks Commercial Solicitors in Wakefield.

I qualified as a solicitor in 2000 and have practised as an employment lawyer ever since.

I have seen employment law from both sides of the fence, initially acting for the employee and then for many years I have been acting for the employer.

I have worked in large regional firms including Last Catwhra Feather, Ford & Warren and Hempsons. I have worked with a diverse range of clients including SMEs, local authorities, NHS Trusts, Primary Care Trusts, national public transport service providers, logistics companies and manufacturing companies.

I have extensive experience of all areas of employment practice including representation at Employment Tribunal across the country for large employers. I advise clients on redundancies, TUPE, Trade Union/industrial relations issues, restructuring, contracts of employment and policies, internal disciplinary and grievance procedures, restrictive covenants/injunctions, compromise agreements and consultancy agreements

Following an exhilarating round the world trip in 2011, I have joined my colleague Michael Crook as a director in Crooks Commercial Solicitors Limited. Our objective is to provide excellent levels of service whilst always providing real value to our clients.

We are interested in working with your business, helping you to achieve your objectives and developing a long-term business relationship.

In addition to the extensive employment advice service, we also provide employment law training for your business and employment law support packages with competitive legal expenses insurance.

I joined 4Netwroking after my firdt Business Breakfast last week, good people and a great atmosphere. Im looking forward to getting out there and seeking out those opportunities.
