We have a client who wants us to have shared access to their Diary but they don't know how to set it up and we've not yet access a 365 system.

Any ideas anyone?

Sounds too easy but can't you just go to 'tools / options / delegates' and type in the email address?

Assuming this is on Outlook and I have never tried it so just a guess!

Just had a chat to RED on the phone as a few options.

1. If the diary is a shared team diary in sharepoint you can invite external people to have access, But the person who wants access will need a hotmail or other MS email ID to gain access. This also needs a a bit of Powershell to enable.

2. If its their own personal diary it can be made public on the internet, but this is read only. All done via outlook, and can allow varying levels of access.

3. If you need to be adding content to someones personal Office 365 diary you would need an Office 365 account in their subscription, this could be Exchange Online (rather than an Office 365 account), so £2.60 per month, or you may be able to get away with a Kiosk Exchange license, which is about £1.50 per month.

Hope that helps.

Denis,

The simple way would be for you to be setup on their Office 365 subscription. Then you could login via the web and gain access to the diary as well as other folders.
