Hi everyone.
Why do Graphic designers hate me? Well, this software helps you to build your own Facebook Timeline header images + more and spare yourself a graphic designers fees. Yes, you have to do it yourself but it is extremely easy to do and works for both your business and personal Facebook pages. The software is dead simple and the images produced are spot on. The link is below: Facebook Cover Generator **DISCLAIMER** There is a paid verison Facebook Cover Generator Pro Version. The link is an affiliate link and although the software is free to use with the first link given there is also a paid version for around £6.60. Should you buy through this link I will get paid a commission. Just letting you know that you don't have to get the paid version but it does have some extras that the free version doesn't. I just love posts like this. It is up there with 'my son is a bit of a computer expert. He visited me this weekend and now it doesn't work'. Makes me a lot of no quibble money. Similarly, this type of post. Graphics is very little to do with software. Pass me a pencil and paper and I will demonstrate. The clue is in the second word of graphic design and graphic artist. Having said that, all web site owners flyer purchasers should have a go. It helps us to know what the customer is looking for and they understand what is involved in the process and why there is a charge. Gary |

Fully agree, I can buy most of the equipment/tools to conduct brain surgery, not sure anyone's going to let me 'have a go on them' though.

Absolutely, exactly. I own some knitting needles. I shall still purchase my clothes at a store. Nothing wrong with people having a go. But graphic designers are, actually, good at what they do for reasons unconnected with their having purchased some nice software.

Ouch, it seems I struck a nerve with some of you guys The reason for the thread is that there is a chunk of folk out there that are struggling to come up with a few quid to pay a graphic designer and therefore have incomplete timelines doing little justice to their business branding. Also, a lot of people still want to do it themselves. For these reasons alone I shared this software. It's relevant to the new timeline changes, it's practical and it's free.
At the end of the day some of us need a helping hand minus the expense.

which was definitely not my attention. When it comes to actual design work that's required I agree 100% that a designer is who should do the job. Hell, I outsource my graphic work to a brilliant graphic designer.
