Hi, what do you think?

I Value you opinion, I designed these brochures using MS 2010 Publisher and pics from my catalogue of work done.

Too much info? Enough? Not enough? Appealing? Professional in appearence? Your thoughts are very welcome.

By the way, this isn't just a sly attempt to increase traffic to my website, it was the only way I could get the original PDF's (created for the printers) to be visible (using my linited knowledge) by creating a page on my site and adding a link.

I am genuinely interested to know what people think of think of it as a mini brochure for my business. Open Mouthed Smile

Thanks

A spell check/read through would help a little, just spotted "your ever day drive..." should that not be "your everyday....?

I am not a fan of seeing quotes from people with no names against them just makes it look like you have made them up, yes of course even with names they could have been made up but it is a simple psychological thing.  By adding the names it is almost like legitimising the quotes and making them more believable.

In your services you talk about hd cleansing to prep for waxing then the next service is the waxing would it not be easier to have HD cleansing and then the seperate wax reference?  As currently you are saying the name of the wax twice straight after each other.

Consistency, on the two examples Citreon and BMW you have different looks i.e. 2 dents, before and after. Then BMW wheel arch... Before and After also on the cherished show car it finishes with .. when none of the others do.

On the picture you have B4 and after on, not sure what it is trying to show

Sorry if it sounds negative but it is aimed to point out what I see, others may like it?

Some very constructive critism :

1. You havent got a brand or an identity for your business : You need a brand before your do any form of marketing activity.

2. Too much copy : People wont read all the information, it needs to be concise, customer focussed and benefit based sales/marketing copy with punchy headlines and an obvious call to action. Less is more, simpler always is better!

3. Design is ok : But unispiring, don't stick to A5, do something unique to get that "wow!" factor when you hand it out.

4. Objective : Who's the target market?, what do you want them to do? How do you want them to feel when they read it? You need to think about these before putting any marketing collateral together. Focus group the concept to the desired target market, get feedback and improve. Only then get the document printed!

Front Cover: Remove all the white bullet point text and just keep the red topics (and change them to white if you keep the blue backing).

Remove the blue backing and replace with one large hi-res car photo.  Either something really sexy or something really ugly (raise intrigue).  Has to be something with room for a little copy such as the red headings and logo.  If you can't do that then change the colour theme.  Dark red on dark blue is always hard to read.

Redo your logo by doing at the very least : Change colour and remove effects from the text )no bevels/embosses.  Keep it clean and simple. This will improve your flyer by 100% alone.

Keep in the bold text "AX- A dent are a..." and remove everything else

Back cover :   Keep as is but just make the amendments above with regards to colour and font

Page 2: Move those images to page 3 and lay them out as you have done page 3

Add in the text removed from front cover

Page 3: As above + more good images

From the top of my head, thats it.

Remember that people don't read flyers, they look at them and them throw them in the bin.

Nice images and quick text at least makes them digestably (even unconsiously) and if it does really look good enough, it may well be kept.

Hope this helps. Good luck :)

Hi Glenn

Thanks for the feedback.

The b4 & After shows 2 fist sized dents in a wheel arch that are there (use of arrows to point at) then not... I thought it was pretty clear Confused and is the kind of damage I repair almost daily, maybe a more obvious comparison is needed such as http://www.ax-a-dent.co.uk/82/Honda_Civic_Wing_Dent
