Hi,

I'm in the process of trying to get on suppliers lists at numerous hotels and I would like some advice on how often you should make contact with the person who can give you a yes or no. I feel there is a fine line between annoying someone or making sure they don't forget you.

Let me know your thoughts.

Hi Richard

Social media is great for this. Try and find out if they are online anywhere and then you can keep in the forefront of someone's mind and then call periodically (about once a month) with information that would be useful to them to help build a relationship.

Hi Richard,

I will e-maill you some stats about follow up etc. later today. The answer to your question, generally, is to follow up regularly but keep varying the follow up - phone, e-mail, post, send articles or items of interest etc etc. If you would like to have a chat about it PM me and I'll happily call you. Persistence , ( not pushy) is the key.

Richard

It all depends upon how you contact them, and how you leave the converstion. The trick is to remain in control of the conversation, tell the prospect what youa re going to do next and get their implied agreement.

BTW it is not instantly clear what you offer from your website.

Give me a call/PM if you would like more information/a chat

Martin

Just read the document you sent though to my email. Has opened my eyes massively.
