Hello everyone.

We are wanting to create a newsletter template design which can be emailed across all our contacts using our windows mail email system. Any ideas what we can do?

Many Thanks

Matt

Hi Matt,

We provide training companies with email marketing functionality as part of our Course Manager software. I would say either speak with us about the email marketing module of our training management software or go for one of the free email marketing sites - mailchimp, perhaps?

You can take a look at some of our email marketing tips here as well: http://www.accessplanit.com/news-article/Top-10-Email-Marketing-Tips-For-Training-Companies

Good luck

Dave

Hi Matt

Email newsletters only work if they are opened and read with the plethora of emails these days that is becoming a smaller and smaller number. So while it may be the cheapest option it is not necessarily the best option.

Many of our customers having gone to email newsletters have come back to snail mail as it works better for them.  The major hurdles to Direct mail for SME's is the cost and the resource to do it. At mailadoc we help with both of these with our office mail system you can print and post a letter or a mailmerge from your PC using our office mail print driver for just £0.39+ vat for an A4 colour letter www.mailadoc.co.uk

I would be happy to talk you through it or any other services we ofdfer

Nevil

MailaDoc for all your postal requirements we save you time and money whether its a small run direct mail campaign of 500 or a large one for 100,000+ every customer is important.

or are you fed up with putting your invoices and statements in envelopes why not try Office Mail and let us do the work and save you money at the same time

Hi Matt

Not a direct answer, but we use Mailchimp which can create some pretty professional stuff.

I agree with Nevil that good old hard copy has a greater impact; you might want to consider running a a list and b list system to manage costs.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the advice.

Dave - I'll keep your company in mind, I've looked at the link and there's some good tips there, useful to alot of companies.  You should print that off and put it on the bumf table at a 4N meet.

Nevil - I take on your point re direct mail. For us though we have borchures, specifically designed and printed, but they take time in stuffing and sending. And they're good for a specific campaign, but not so much as a method to keep customers up to date every couple of months.

Mark - Like you, I'm warming towards Mailchimp, it's just finding the template that fits our needs.

Thank you everyone.

Best wishes to you all

Matt
