Hi All, We are devising some healthy eating courses, and looking for an A5 booklet about healthy eating. Wondered if anyone can point me in the right direction? Many Thanks Matt |

Hi Matthew Are you looking for an existing resource or to create a new document? If its the second we can definitely help, I have an extensive food industry background and experience working with food safety too! Let me know if we can help Michelle |

One of my clients delivers training, predominantly within the NHS, on various aspects of behaviour change and healthy lifestyles. I've produced various resources along the lines of what you've described to accompany the training. While I don't believe they've produced anything that quite fits this bill they may well know of an existing resource from elsewhere. Get in touch if you want to discuss this further and I'll put you in touch if I think it's something they may be able to help with. |

A lot of those, especially from the BHF have some sensible ideas but don't go into detail nor provide full information, they really only offer what they think people will comply rather than what is factual. |

Hi Adam, No problem. At the moment, we have Level 1 sorted, but shortly Level 2 will follow. Level 1 is an award with a certificate of completion. Level 2 is an award which provides an accredited certificate, this should be renewed every 3 years. The content is: Level 1: The importance of healthy eating, The role of food in our lives, Nutrients, Foods & digestion, Energy, Importance of exercise, Health problems. Level 2: As above, but more indepth, also Additives & labelling, Cooking & eating, Composition of a healthy balanced diet, Nutrient content & food groups, Nutrient deficiency & excess, Food processing. For both courses, all delegates receive a training pack and a book entitled "the foundations of Healthy eating & nutrition". Hope this helps Matt |
