...or at least it will be! Thanks to 4 Sighter, we learnt that selling need not be as painful as we think...

Another great morning today at 4N Harlow! Informative 40s slots as always. This time, Ian Slocombe of Slocolec taught us a valuable lesson - the no.1 cause of home fires are overheating mobile phone chargers, closely followed by plug-in air fresheners! Looks like I'll have to inspect my wall sockets...We also heard the range of services that Angie of Angie & Co Design provides, and she reminded us that it's a good idea to pay her a visit before we shell out for logos and other branding, as she can no doubt help!

And whilst on the subject of saving money, did you know that David Scott of Inheritance Legal Services Ltd recently saved a family around £80k on their Inheritance Tax bill, by simply helping them put togther a will? Paul of PJ Wiliams Photography educated us about his on-site printing service, which lets your guests take away keepsakes at their special event, and we learnt about the value of aloe vera from Karen Daniels of Forever Living, through the magic of verse!

We were delighted to welcome Sarah Sheffield of CSS Motors as our visitor, and we hope to welcome her back to future meetings. Sarah was even lucky enough to get a seat to watch the Jubilee Concert - something that was not lost on our very own Chris 'Mr. Pink' Ives of Utility Warehouse...

So we then moved on to a brilliantly informative 4 Sight, by John Kettley of The Salesmasters Guild. He shared with us that selling is no more painful than having a conversation and being genuinely interested in the other person's needs. He gave us his 5-step sales process, and reminded us that in each networking opportunity, we need to be asking our 3 killer questions. And whilst we may think we're insurance brokers, graphic designers or mechanics, it's worth taking the time to really think about what we do that helps our customers or clients.

Thanks again to everyone who attended, particularly after the Bank Holiday festivities! Next meeting will be on Wednesday 20th June - book your place early! Our 4 Sighter will be Jim Cliff of Aadvark Corporate Films, who'll give us a rare glimpse into how the censor boards really decide what to leave out of the latest film release. Another one to look forward to!

It was a great meeting! John Kettley was a source of inspiration in many ways, I now have a new 40 second to 'hone' but it hits the nail on the head, well, it might if I can deliver it successfully...I may just illustrate it! Hold up pictures etc!!!

Lovely to see Sarah Sheffield, the connotations concerning her 'body shop' could be endless but we wont go there!

Thanks for my 121's, John Kettley, Ian Slocombe and Jim Haran!

I will miss you all next time but Ill be Diving in warm sunny waters, sunning myself  in the middle of the Red Sea, so dont miss me!!!A special thank you to Lovely Chris Ives who will be covering as AL - Hope you all have a productive and enjoyable meeting!

Apologies for posting late as I did enjoy coming over to the Churchgate to experience the Harlow buzz & banter.
An extremely useful 4Sight from John who managed to use his audience in bringing examples to life. Well done!
I had my first 1 to 1 with Sarada where we soon established common ground - to be continued on June 20th. Thanks to Sarah and Paul for completing three engaging 10 min sessions.
Really sorry to learn that Angie has since stepped down as Area Leader - your contribution to 4N over the last 3 years including the last three months has been immense and I'm sure everyone wishes you well as you focus specifically on your business. We look forward to seeing you again soon on the 4N circuit after a well deserved scuba diving holiday.
Happy weekends all.
Cheers, Mr Pink
