Mighty Monmouth - Friday 15th June - The Elephant In The Room

Not only is Friday 15/6 the next Mighty Monmouth 4N, featuring a real emotional rollercoaster of a 4Sight from Mark 'Should I Have Gone To New Zealand' Brimson, (8am-10am - book below!!), but there are also various other local events taking place:

• It's the Principality BS's first Birthday in Monmouth - with activities all day at their Monnow St, Branch
• The Lion Inn, Trellech starts their 12th Beer Festival (running over the weekend)
• The Raglan Music Festival kicks off (with Tony Hadley & Go West & many, many others)
• It's the eve of the Dragon Boat Race for St David's Hospice

AND - it's England beating Sweden that night as England march (albeit unexpectedly) to Euros Glory.  And I know Monmouth is in Wales - but I can't big-up the Welsh team in Poland & Ukraine as they're not there! (that's the 'Elephant In The Room'). However Wales are due to teach the Aussies a little about Rugby Union the next day in the second test of the tour in Melbourne ......

........so, to celebrate English & Welsh dominance in their chosen sports, there's a bottle of sparkling stuff for anybody who posts the correct Sweden vs. England and Australia vs. Wales scores on this thread

Oh - and don't forget to come to Mighty Monmouth - it'll be storming (as ever)

The 4sight sounds very interesting so looking forward to finding out more about Mark and New Zealand.

Sounds like some great events are running, in particular as Cat pointed out the beer festival , be rude not to go and have a pint or two! I'd be lying if I said I was too young to remember Tony Hadley and Go West but my wife is a big 80's music fan so that sounds like something we also will be having a look at. Beer and 80's music, can't go wrong!

Ok, scores on the doors:

• England 2 - Sweden 0 (may be a bit optimistic!)      
• Wales 21 - Australia 17 (a guess, Rugby's not really my thing but better big Wales up due to the location of the 4N!)

Unfortunately unable to attend this one my last visits have been fantastic you have a great display of local businesses and some fantastic people that are also  becoming friends.

Loving 4n last month met some more amazing people around the groups, they know who they, wont name them  are as naming them I may miss some out

Mighty Monmouth is as good as it says on the tin well done have a great meeting and will try book in for the next one, cant be missing too many

Last meeting was my first in Monmouth, I enjoyed it so much im coming again! from the last meeting im knitting a bear, from this one will we be learning the Haka??

Mighty Monmouth always rocks and this Friday promises to be a great meeting. We have passporters from a land far away (Brizzle) and more of the local groups such as Abergavenny and Cwmbran. Get booked folks, its gonna be fantastic.

Right then - now I've seen Wales loss to Oz on Saturday and England's draw tonight, it's time for my predictions:

Australia 21  Wales 25

Sweden 1 England 2
