Hi,

I have a client who is looking for a company that can carry out some dredging work for a site on the river Thames, his message is copied below.

I am now very keen to find someone that can provide me with a quote to undertake the 90 meters by 12 meters wide dredging of the river as discussed. If you were able to find someone to work with you and do this for me would be greatly appreciated.

The reference to the dredging company working with me refers to an environmental watching brief to make sure everything is in line with Environment Agency requirements.

I can't guarantee anyone work but if anyone knows a business that could do this please get in touch and I can give you more details.

You could try http://www.meercatworkboats.com/ - I sold them a website a few years back. They won't help directly but they build some dredging support boats and I would expect might be able to point you in the right direction of a company who can do the actual dredging.

The guys from Goodchild Marine  http://www.goodchildmarine.co.uk/dredging.asp  based near Gt Yarmouth have been dredging the marina on the outskirts of Ipswich for some years.  The dredger usually gets transported by road and lifted in on site.

Cheers
