4N Leamington

Hello Everyone, Thanks for a great meeting at Chesford Grange, with a total of 22 of you present this morning. Although I suppose we could say it was 24, if you include Ant & Dec... It was good to welcome Judy Mansfield, Charles Murphy and Julie Selbie-Clark, each of whom was attending their first Leamington meet. (I don't think I missed any Leamington first-timers out there, but if I did, please correct me!). I think it's generally agreed the busy Chesford Grange breakfast room is...how shall I put it... a challenging location in which to deliver a pitch, let alone a 4sight, so it's always a sign of an engaging main presentation if everyone is paying full attention throughout, as was the case with today's rat-infested Greek epic from Tom Langrick. I'm sure you'll all join me in thanking Tom for re-living his experiences for us. I hope you all had some good 1-2-1's on what turned out to be a much sunnier morning than most of us expected at the start of the week. The next Leamington 4N is, of course, two weeks from today on Wednesday 27th June. If you asked me to book you on when you checked in this morning, that should have been done for you. But if you've not committed because you think you might be otherwise engaged that day, please keep it in your diary just in case you become free. There are of course lots of other 4N events coming up at other venues both near and far, so do take advantage where and when you can. We hope to see you again soon. Regards Phil

Great meeting this morning, thoroughly enjoyed Tom Langrick's foresight about his hapless travels with a young family around Greece and Bulgaria... living the foreign dream! Good work Phil in your new role as operations person/assistant... very organised so far! See you all soon |

The dream that became the nightmare. Investments that became insurance policies that ended up having to be cashed in! Yep, it was all there. Thank you for your ears this morning, I enjoyed relaying my experience and I'm pleased you found it interesting. It was good to have 1-2-1's with:
I'll get you next time Judy! See you all soon on the circuit. |

Phil you did a fab job doing your first bit of op's assisting.
It was a shame Karen couldn't make it today, kids and germs hey?! The very time you don't want them to share, they do. As of our next meeting Becky Jones will be taking over as Group Leader
See you all next time, for another fun packed morning. Hopefully we can take control in 2 weeks and get finished on time!! |

It was such an honour to meet two fantastic lads yesterday. I must say, Ant seems to have let himself go a bit. As for Declan, well, his dashing looks, infectious smile and wonderful carisma is a joy to behold. A big thank you to my 1-2-1'ers. Peter Schofield, Gaz Nash and Peter Sanders. Peter, you'll be pleased to hear that I went for a swim early this morning. No speedo's for me though. Congratulations Phil Smith ('Pen Man') on a successful Ops Assistant role and to Tom Langrick for your rollercoaster of a ride 4Sight. I've been on a few snowboard trips in my time and can sympathise with you on how winding and bendy roads up to mountains can be. As for doing it everyday, well I take my hat off to you. Whatever happened to the Likely Lads eh? Maybe they will make an appearance at the next event.
Well, I best get back to work. However, I will love you and leave you with a take on a classic quote from the film starring Kevin Costner - The Field of Dreams - "If Matt builds it, they will come". Enjoy the rest of your day everyone. |
