Another post with no particular purpose other than me being a proud Dad. Patch represented our village today when David Cameron visited the local pottery, with Aung San Suu Kyi with him. Patch sat next to Aung San at a tea party and chatted with her for about 10 minutes.

How cool.

Beats Let Loose coming to your school (exactly let who?)

You can see Cameron in the background asking "do you know where Jimmy's millions are?"

Did you notice he's really tall Stef?

I did! I've met Cameron once or twice before when he was 'just' leader of the opposition and our local MP (which he still is of course). He presented my eldest son with his Chief Scout's Award a few years ago.

Wasn't actually going to go if it was just him and only found out Aung San Suu Kyi was with him literally minutes before so hoofed it up there with a camera.

Forgot you were neighbours Wink.

I saw him on my train when they were campaining, made his "staff" sit in the next set of seat and write his speech!

No problem with you being a proud parent. Maybe we should have an ongoing thread for stuff like this, the extended family of the 4n family.

You OK Stef, calmer week?

The kids sat next to the celebs are both children of people who work at the pottery and who the pottery own knows well and knows can be trusted to put on a good show!

Wow, Stef - this is AMAZING!  When we chatted about the sniffer dogs visiting Aston Pottery, we all thought that it would be Cameron visiting but for Aung San Suu Kyi to be there too is out of this world. She's a huge heroine of mine.  I'm sure that Patch knows how lucky he is - these are some photos to share with his children and grandchildren.  Can I have his autograph? Smiley
