Not sure what you need the projector for but guessing from the word competition you're not talking about a presentation. Be aware that most projectors designed for business aren't good for video at all. As in they will be dim, often suffer motion blur and colour mixing. I speak from significant experience! |

A local Audio visual hire company will probably charge circa £75 per day for something around 3000 lumens brightness - should handle video OK - as long as you arent expecting cinematic qualities as per the big screen cinemas - in which case you may pay a lot more!
ps Get a decent screen surface as well |
