TBH - It wasnt Coogan at his best. I'm a massive Partridge fan and this is just the wrong format to get the best out of the character - he needs a situation to fumble through. Sky Atlantic have been bringing out a lot of class comedy material recently and it seems like they have both dropped the ball here. However, having said that, every other Partridge series has matured with repeat viewings. It has been confirmed that there is now a movie on the way. Is Coogan just trying to cash in on the character now? Cant fault him if he is, the character has given me a lot of laughts |
