Cambridge today

I am sat typing this just as the second half of extra time has started for the match between Spain and Portugal. So far what I’ve seen hasn’t been that inspiring – apart from literally the last couple of minutes. Watching it reminds me of being at the Abbey Stadium earlier today – I’lll leave you to your own conclusions….. A busy meeting today with 30 of us present. We welcomed 2 visitors: Ben Martindale from ‘In The Zone’ and Stuart Colman from Cambridge Wealth Management Ltd and we hope to see you both again soon. David Kilpatrick from iTEXS Ltd gave a light hearted 4Sight about a personal odyssey he had been through as a result of how 2 friends of his reacted to serious illness. I think David was far more experimental thanmany of us would be! Personally I think skiing on Xmas day is the best advice… Book in for 2 weeks time to come and join us. Julian Wood from JW Car Contracts is going to give us a 4Sight, and definitely an insight, into what really goes on in the car industry. I am sure names will be changed to protect the not so innocent!

I've only switched on the computer after the football and am now wondering if we - Germans - will be playing Spain on Sunday. I might miss that as I am off to France for a prolonged weekend. Lucky me! I will leave Boney behind. It would probably be too hot for him anyway although I put him on Manna Bears from Katrina and Aloe creme from Keith Benwell ... I had very fruitful 1:2:1s with Steve Catchpole, Katrina Edmonds and Frank Harris and am looking forward to deepening our conversation very soon. We had more food for thought from David Kilpatrick and I guess, I should start a list some time soon. But the most important thing is then to start ticking the boxes one by one. See you all in a couple of weeks

Great to see such a good turn out this morning. The 4 sight has made me think of a few more things to go out and try - although I'll steer clear of trying everything on a menu - unless it's a vege restaurant! Thank you to David, Elke and Eric for good information. Seems there's things to do before I head to the departure lounge someday. Have a great week everyone. |

Great meeting, really came away buzzing and that was mainly down to the 4Sight! Having had the flipping out at 30 stage and doing crazy things myself, I totally understand, and you really should go and enter the marathon David, it is an absolutely, wonderful event! Had some wonderful conversations, although mainly about my cooking ;) watch tthis space for an update on that front! Elke, have a wonderful weekend, and that extends to you all.
