A friend keeps promisig to put me forward for CDWM - but I've promised her that if she does, we will no longer be friends! They set out to deliberately mismatch people to create controversy - and even the nicest people are ridiculed, courtesy of Dave Lamb - although in fairness, it is his commentary that really makes the show. I may be a great cook, but my ego is too fragile to suffer that level of public indignity ... and what if I messed up under pressure? ... aaarrgh ... doesn't bear thinking about! (Okay, I admit it, I'm a coward). |

The people that have "entertainment" make me cringe. After all, entertainment is such a subjective thing, and what you love other people might hate. I'd say abandon all plans for entertainment and make sure whatever you're cooking is simple and can be prepared in advance - as a good host you need to be there with yolur guests, not slaving away in the kitchen between courses! |
