Let's just clear one thing up about Porthcawl this morning!!!....no one did the Rumba but everyone did have Rum Balls and nice they were too!

Well it was great to be back in over cast but happy Porthcawl now with fresh fruit salad!!!! We made the effort just for the lovely Clare Davies from Glamorgan Uni who is a Fresh fruit salad connoisseur . It came in the loveliest glass and looked amazing!!

It was great to have Rhys Jones 4sighting with us on how to make the most of a fan page on twitter and his call to action being....why on earth aren't we on Google places??? It's free !!!!

Our lovely group leader Gareth had to rush off to work due to his sick son (send sympathy) and so yours truly took over and it all went down hill from there really! We did laugh tho

It was great to have Donna and Lyndon visiting with us and now Donna is a 4n member so go say hi to her ASAP!!!

Thank goodness for Adrian our amazing op's assistant who managed to get everyone to pay and almost everyone has rebooked for next time and with 5 new visitors already booked in and not forgetting the crew from the east coming to visit (in convoy down the m4, we need 4n car flags) it is setting up to be a great 4n meet with the fresh team at 4n Porthcawl!!

Hi Sara and the team at Porthcawl. Thank you for a great meeting and lovely breakfast. I made some great new contacts, the atmosphere was simply lovely and I felt very relaxed. Porthcawl seems to be perfectly placed to have an East Meets West gathering so it was great for me to meet 4N'rs from Swansea and Carmarthen.

I have booked in to come back in a couple of weeks... I will be one of the Convoy travelling East to West on the M4.

You were both right - it was a super meeting, lively before Sara took over, but as anyone who knows her can imagine, it was even livelier afterwards!  Lovely relaxed venue, giving the holiday feel Porthcawl always seems to do.  Rum balls were gorgeous, Rhys was fascinating in his 4sight,  and Mark - looking forward to seeing you again, hopefully without rain-soaked hair! 

Welcome Donna, and thanks Rhys for inviting her. As you say Mark Porthcawl is ideal for East meeting West - really looking forward to next one.  6 visitors now!!

All I can say is that there better be some rum balls left for when I come up there!

It's so assuring that Sara and Adrian are more than competent to keep the ball rolling when I deserted them half way through the meeting - excellent work team. Gutted I left my chocolate rum balls behind. Another fantastic meeting, going from strength to strength.

It was nice to see more new faces and even better that Donna became a 4N member, great outcome considering I called her Emma at first, but I always have one gaff during meetings.

Almost 2 dozen now for the next meeting!   Sara - did Mark take the new photo on your profile?  It's very glam!  He'll have to airbrush mine a helluva lot!!  We certainly didn't have your rum balls Gareth, I'm sure you'll be able to have them next meeting!

The way things are going we should hit 30 by the end of the week. All looking good for a busy next meeting on the 13th July.

Two dozen for the next meeting of which I am one! (but I make enough noise for 24!)

this will be my VERY first ever visit to Porthcawl and I've been with 4N 12 months this month (hanging my head in shame!).

Can't wait to meet you all and please feel free to blame Sara for making me come to the meeting!

I am also bringing some fellow valleys chaps with me, so  I apologise in advance for them too!
