Creative in Wellingborough

Hi all,

Another lovely Wellingborough meeting yesterday. Big thanks to Yvette Lamidey for the 4Sight - Innovation v Creativity - as thought provoking as ever! I think Yvette's challenge to us all to take time out to think about our own businesses is a great one.......I look forward to your feedback once you've done so!

As ou know we are looking for a Marketing Assistant for the group - if anyone is interested, or knows someone who might be, please get in touch with our Group Leader Ruth Brock, or myself.

Another great meeting and the start of a fab group.

Need to keep those visitors coming people, so invite as many as you can with the invite cards, make the group the best in the area.

Looking forward to hearing who has taken time out to have some thinking, creating, playing and innovation space :-)

Afternoon all. Great meeting - also had a nice little package from the postman today with my 4N badge in! :)

I meant to mention after Yvette's 4sight about - I take 90mins every morning to work ON my business and not IN it. This is all tasks such as marketing material / website content / offers / Newsletters / Direct Mail etc etc.

Using this time - where there is no email - my phones are off and the door is closed... from 7:30 - 9 I can then focus on exactly what needs doing so I'm ready for the day ahead. Oh and by the way - yes schedule yourself time..! those 90mins of mine are broken up into 10min slots and I have a diary of what activity each of those blocks will be used for.

Not sure if that helps anyone - but always handy to know what other people do I think.

Good to see you all, and thanks Yvette for an inspiring talk.

What Richard from Blue Star didn't mention was that he also prepares urgent artwork for his new client at 1.30 in morning to meet a deadline :) Thank you very much, you are a life saver! You will all see the result of his design work at the next 4N meeting when I will have something new and exciting on the bumf table to share with you all, see you there :)
