Great minds were at Witney today...

... and they were all busy mapping out their next 40 seconds! Thanks to Corinna Shepherd for her practical 4sight on mind mapping, which had us all using pretty colours to plan out what we could use our 40 second pitches for. Really interesting to hear all the different ways that mind mapping can be used, too. Great meeting overall - lots of regulars in the room, as passporters from far afiekld, including Tom who was on his way from Stratford upon Avon to Welwyn Garden City via Witney ..... hmmm interesting route! Great to meet you though, Tom! I had three great 121s with Victoria Gould, who helped me out with some tax advice; Mandy Brierley for a catch up on how our businesses are doing; and Steve Legge for some marketing/blogging talk. Next meeting is on Wed 25th July and we have a treat in store as our 4sighter is Ian Crocker, who's coming up from Guildford to help us maximise our networking! We already have doubole figures booked, with a fortnight to go, so don't miss out, book in! http://www.4networking.biz/Events/Details/28601

Really enjoyed my first visit to Witney. What a charming town - and a charming bunch of 4Ners too, of course. A bit rowdy at times though... |

Corinna is a great 4SIghter - I can thoroughly recommend her! Through her mind mapping I've got my next five 40 seconds planned out whihc is just great. Another lively (sigh!) meeting - sometimes I feel like it's herding cats but with 3 other visiting GLs in the room (Corinna, Tom and John), an ex- Area Leader (Alison) and our illustrious AL Charlie, I did my best. Well done to Neil for finally "winning " a Wispa award - it was an encouragement award! |

Enjoyed this morning's meeting. Thanks for the welcome. My route may have seemed wierd to you, but I actually came from Pershore where I live so cross country, via Stow is a piece of cake! Had good 1-2-1's with Corinna - thanks for the Mind Mapping tips, I'm going to look deeper into the topic and the practice itself. Erik - thanks for the chat about debt advice etc. Nice to know you're having some success with the Funding Circle. Peer to Peer is definitely a wave of nouveau finance to be embraced. Last but not least, Kath, well, we just chatted about Paris, or was that Powys. Maybe I have a speech impediment and everyone things I'm moving to France! Nice to see The Flying Doctor again, he does get around! So, who's going to burn over to Stratford next week on the 19th to come and see us? We have a fantastically lively group and usually 25+ in the room, so it would be brilliant to see a few of you to join the fun (and of course the networking), oh, and the breakfast is pretty kingly too! Thanks again, hope to see some of you soon. |

I forgot to mention my little chat with Stephen Legge! We have a shared interest in cycling. Thanks Steve, it's always nice to find a kindred spirit. |

Great meeting on Wednesday, I really enjoyed myself and Victoria, illustrious is much more acceptable than the other adjective!! Tom, great to meet you, really pleased you enjoyed yourself. Amanda, I have no option but to hijack one of your groups thread now.......it might be today, it might be next year......you have been warned. Neil, this week a wispa award, next week the world, two weeks time...........another wispa award maybe??? Corinna, thank you for a brilliant 4sight, you officially got part of my mind working...........(before anyone else says it) doctors have been trying for years.
Lastly, I feel I need to set the record straight. I was in no way involved in the theft of the Wispa bars, that was all Kath and the only reason I knew anything about it was that I tried to stop her. At no point did I encourage her or find the theft funny. |
