I think it is a tough one. Similar to a copywriter or wordsmith who can not delivery a 40 second pitch. If they are good with words, show me. If a telemarketer is good with the phone, I would more likely want to see they demonstrate it. If a web company is good with creating websites that work, I expect their website to be better than average. Eating your own dogfood. Using your own skills to promote your business. Depending on what you do it could be tricky. Similar to how the cobbler's children will suffer worn out shoes. |

A telemarketer may look at the overall strategy including email, social media etc...not sure why they should stick to just the one method as a holistic approach surely adds value. Or have I missed the point somewhere? |
