Do you Follow up on your 1-2-1's .

And the chats you have in the meetings.

I have started to do this now as, I feel members are taking enough intrest in me know.

Most upto the last 2 weeks seemed to be a bit luke warm.

It depends how the 1-2-1 went. Sometimes there's nothing to follow up, sometimes there is. Just so long as you follow up those you agree to.

I agree, if it's just an informal chat then no, but if there's something I can help them with then yes!

I follow up on every one 2 one even if it's just to say thanks for the one 2 one. You just never know what that next contact may spark from your original conversation so please follow up and see what happens.

Unless the person I've been chatting to is an absolute tool, I'll always drop them a note that afternoon with my details and to say 'thanks' for the one-to-one. I got into this habit pretty quickly when breakfast netwroking and I think it's a good one for anybody to follow. Some people stack business cards in a drawer or leave them scattered everywhere - if you drop them an email they will have all your details right there in their inbox.

Neil, good point, if you do not follow up like that how can you build on KLMT if you only see them every 2 weeks or less.

Social media is very good for building relationships outside of face-to-face meetings. In fact, I'd go as far as saying that's what I use it for primarily. Deeper not wider, if that makes sense?

VERY few people do. I am guilty of this as well.
Many 121's I have had, I have explicity asked them to send me some stuff through and it just never arrives.

Sending out documents for signature is a real pain. It takes weeks to deliver the document to your client, for them to sign it and then finally for them to send it right back. Signable takes just seconds to deliver a 100% legally binding document straight to your clients inbox for them to sign on the dotted line right there, right then.

Greatly increase your sign-rate
Get your documents signed now, not tomorrow or next week. We've all had that client that wanted to sign on the dotted line, but a week later weren't so sure. Increase your sign-rate and watch the money roll in from the contracts you would never have won before.

If I have a 1-1 with someone and the question 'so what is your hourly rate' comes up, I will also follow up with an email within the next few days.  If I see them again and they've not followed up my follow up (gets confusing doesn't it!), I will let them know I've not forgotten them and suggest that they contact me should they need any support from me in the future.

As for those of you that Neil Pie refers to with stacks of business cards - get a Virtual Assistant to put them into your contacts database for you!
