Hi Stuart Please take this in the positive way in which it is intended, but I always feel the 'free advice' offer looks a bit scammy. Ultimately we know you would like to sell us something and you know we won't pay you for an initial consultation - Others may not agree, of course. I think your references and testimonials are great on their own.

Thanks for the reply Mark, no offence taken. However, it may appear 'scammy' in your opinion - but is it any different to any other blatant ad in that respect? On the fee front, on the mortgage side of things my clients agree to pay me an upfront fee after I've completed a viability check for them because I can demonstrate to them that I can achieve results. With the sheer volume of enquiries that don't proceed due to outside influences...how else could businesses that mainly get paid by commission survive? Possibly why there's now less than 10,000 mortgage advisers left in the country - in 2007? Over 30,000.... Have a good weekend, Stuart |
