Life assurance is not a commodity it should not be purchased online or whilst out shopping @ a Supermarket. Buying online does not mean it is cheaper, Don't get me wrong I love Meerkats as much as anyone, but it costs money for Alexander Orlov to strut his stuff on the TV (simples). When buying life assurance the main focus should be on the suitability of the product being purchased focusing on things such as the type of cover, the term of the plan, the purpose of the cover, the features & benefits offered, and very importantly having the appropriate trust wrapped around it, not something you will necessarily be advised on online or by your friendly Supermarket cashier. Very true Steve and the Meerkat wouldn't tell you that although that joint policy may appear cheaper then 2 single life policies it's a false economy as you'll only get one lot of cover and can't put it in a trust...not so Simples!! |
