Recharging Your Batteries

After a really tough frantic couple of weeks I have enjoyed a fantastic day off at a spa today with my mum my sister & my 2 grown up nieces - much laughing, chatting, catching up, snoozing, being pampered & relaxing. I feel like I have had a week's holiday!
The team may never want me back at 4N meets again I was so irritatingly chirpy this evening but I feel on top of the world What do you do to quickly recharge your batteries? What gets you feeling back fighting fit ready to get business done? |

What a lovely post! Recently (mid July) I just needed a break, it was 11am and I just wasn't feeling it in the office, so I called my other half at work - told her to take a half day and meet me at lunchtime. We went and had lunch then went a saw an afternoon movie. Afterwards we went and got ice creams, it was so silly but the next day I was back on fire in the office smashing the phones closing deals. A quick recharge. Needed from time to time. |

Ok, as much as I hate saying these words to you, I feel like I have to: "you win". That looks like bliss.

recharging motivation in general - going on a long run evening run is theraputic - often zone out for most of it! Then the next morning have my head back in the game :)

That was only for the 1 day. Generally it's so hot you can only work indoors. |

Sorry Lee I just ain't buying it - "today I worked in the orchard" does not sound like a hard life!
I'm enjoying my summer holidays working pattern this week i am getting up & working from around 8 until 12 while my boy (age 10) zones out with nintendo, tv etc then we go out & do something fun each afternoon, have tea & family time then I go back to my desk in the evening - today we are off to the woods for the afternoon with friends to build camps & have picnics |

Totally agree with Dave on this one guys. The long evening run when the sun is on its way down and it's cooled off...Nothing like it!
