Giving women choices about their breast health

Prevention is better than screening, by the time any tumour is picked up - the odds aren't great.

It's the animal protein we so love:

In the most comprehensive study of human nutrition ever conducted, “What protein consistently and strongly promoted cancer? Casein, which makes up 87% of cow’s milk protein, promoted all stages of the cancer process. What type of protein did not promote cancer, even at high levels of intake? The safe proteins were from plants, including wheat and soy. As this picture came into view, it began to challenge and then to shatter some of my most cherished assumptions.”

Dr. T. Colin Campbell, author of The China Study

“As families became more affluent in Japan, they began adopting daily meat and dairy into their diet. What was the result? Well, nothing short of shocking, actually. The affluent Japanese women developed breast cancer at a rate EIGHT times higher than their non-affluent Japanese neighbors who ate a diet free from heavy meat and dairy.”

Dr. Janet Bruno

My mum accompanied my aunty to one of these mobile units 7 years ago and although she had only had a mamogram 6 months before she did have another one as it was in with a free health check... the results came back positive and she was diagnosed with breast cancer, luckily it was so early in it's stages that there was no lump formed and minimal damage, she had a lumpectomy and went through 3 weeks of radiotherapy!!!.....

These units are fantastic, god only knows how different it may have been if she had waited until her next scheduled screening!!!

Thanks for the info Adam.

Just one thing to note about The China Study.
It is research done in the field without a control.
The evidence is mostly anecdotal.
Nevertherless, I have cut down substantially on animal protein. No more steak and chips! And very little milk and dairy products.

Very true - but it's a large scale study none the less and whilst a lot of the evidence is anecdotal - it's like this:

"Hi David. I am going to hit you on the head with a sledgehammer. "

Do I need to do this to prove it's gonna hurt?

anyway, here's a video I thought worthing of watching since this topic is gassing about cancer....

It's from one of the giants in this field, McDougall...

Due to work commitments this year I couldn't attend in CA, but the DVD's are well worth buying - just information ya know.

Lemme know what you think.....

Sometimes, even in science, a control isn't required. Smiley

I don't think some people take cancer serious enough until it affect them, or they atleast have a scare!
