Last time i took it to the vet for limping (on a bank holiday) Prognoisis, its got a sprain, try keep it in. That'll be £120 please. Now am i evil for doing my own assesment and saving £120 |

i know how you feel brad i have a black lab and he just loves to play only thing is he is always hurting him self in some way and vets fees are not cheap. ive now got pet insurance what a godsend. |

Just had a letter from the vet saying to vacinate my rabbit, and the cost £30 trouble is it died about 5 months ago. Still it was 12 which is very very old for a rabbit. Average age is 5 years , Actually had two die in the same week. But at £30 it's just not worth it , cheaper to replace it, especially as it's every year , but saying that did spend two lots of nearly £40 to have it's teeth clipped. Couldn't see him suffering It was either that or minced carrots. |

One of my cats is limping at the moment, checked him thoroughly and it seems like he's sprained it somehow. He's a bit of an idiot , so I wouldn't be surprised if he hasn't thrown himself off something high and landed awkward. I've kept cats all my life and believe I can make a good judgement call on whether a vet's required or not. I've not got it wrong yet!! |

Sam tried to move the childrens beloved guinea pig run except the guinea pig didn't move ! The g. pigs' leg broke and had to go to the vet, got splinted up and walked like Charlie Chaplin for the rest of her life, one leg turned out at right angles, 3 walking forward, she couldn't walk in a straight line. Sam got the bill for £25 (could have bought 5 more guinea pigs) and a guilt trip every time he looked at the pig, he couldn't even bring himself to write this story! |
